We had a wonderful Easter with the family. The kiddos got their Easter baskets Easter morning and were super happy to see what the bunny left them. We don’t do a lot of candy in our house, and I knew they would get plenty at the egg hunt. The boys had been asking for Buzz Lightyear and Zurg for quite some time now, and when I saw that Disney had them on sale for $20. each, Easter bunny decided to jump at the opportunity! Sienna is OBSESSED with dolls, so the Easter bunny made sure there was a sweet doll in her basket for her to enjoy. Lots of happy smiles on Easter Morning!
We attended the morning service at Stonecreek Church, where we regularly attend. We later went to my Aunt Vicki’s house and enjoyed time with the family. We had a little mini egg hunt. There wasn’t a lot of kids since my cousin Drew was visiting his wife’s side of the family who live in Alabama, but the kiddos still had fun gathering eggs. It was Sienna’s first time doing an egg hunt, and she loved it. Surprisingly, it was Mason that couldn’t quite get the gist of putting the eggs in the basket as quickly as he could before they’re gone. He wanted to open them and eat the candy as he walked around. I had to continually ask him to stop eating the candy, and get the eggs! Silly boy. It was a fun family day, remembering what our savior did for us, the cornerstone of our Christian faith!
